The Lazy Girl Filch

I've used up all of my energy fighting dust...not really bunnies. Dragons? Behemoths? Dementors? Yes. Dust Dementors. Let's just all assume that I live in an exceptionally dusty corner of the universe and NOT
Hence. The Lazy Girl Filch.
From the Queen of the Filch Carnival herself, My Hero. The Nutmeg. I'm so lazy, I couldn't even write the Simply.
Query from WRH about procedure: Am I supposed to be using MY happy music playlist or everything on the ipod, because everything on the ipod includes, embarrassingly enough, at least 30 Grammar Girl podcasts and some bizarre kid music specimens along the lines of "The Blather Song." Never mind. I think I just answered my own question.
The rules are simple: Hit shuffle on your iPod, then answer each question by hitting next. NO CHEATING!!!
Q: What does next year have in store for you?
A: Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol
Q: What does your love life look like next year?
A: The Rest of the Night by Warren Zevon...hey! Lazy girl is having fun!
Q: What do you say when life gets hard?
A: Annan Waters by Kate Rusby - I have no idea what this means, but it might be her song about drowning.
Q: Song that reminds you of good times?
A: With My Own Two Hands by Jack Johnson
Q: What do you think when you get up in the morning?
A: If I Had A Boat by Lyle Lovett ( "kiss my ass I bought a boat, I'm going out to sea.")
Q: What song will you dance to at your wedding (let’s change that to 25th anniversary)?
A: Like Dreamers Do by The Radiators. How cute. I just threw up in my mouth a little.
Q: Song that reminds you of your first kiss?
A: Hold On by Sarah McLachlan ("This is going to hurt like hell..." WTF???)
Q: Your favorite saying?
A: Wait by Huffamoose (just ask my kids!)
Q: Favorite place?
A: #41 by Dave Matthews Band (OK, whatever)
Q: Most Missed Memory?
A: Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani. Keep moving. Nothing to see here.
Q: What song describes your best friend?
A: Hard Headed Woman by Cat Stevens. I SWEAR TO GOD ADELLE I DID NOT MAKE THIS UP.
Q: What song describes your ex?
A: Put A Little Love In Your Heart by Al Green and Annie Lennox...heh heh
Q: Where would you go on a first date?
A: Fat Man in the Bathtub by Little Feat (Too much information?)
Q: Drug of choice?
A: People Watching by Jack Johnson
Q: What song describes yourself?
A: I'm A Believer by Smashmouth (Not. Even. Close.)
Q: What is the thing you like doing most?
A: But I Might Die Tonight by Cat Stevens (UH....no thanks)
Q: The song that best describes the President?
A: Moving On by Good Charlotte (works for me)
Q: Where will you be in 10 years?
A: Via Con Me by Paolo Conte (I'm sure there's something meaningful in that, but for the life of me, that was a pun, I think, I don't speak Spanish, I don't know what it is)
Q: Your love life right now?
A: Numb As A Statue by Warren Zevon (Is that a good thing or a bad thing?)
Q: What is your state of mind?
A: Bad Day by Daniel Powter (NOT TRUE - although I did go bathing suit shopping...oof)
Q: How will you die?
A: Beautiful Loser by The Radiators (Losing what? That cannot possibly mean that I am the LOSER, right?!)
Alrighty then. Cheaper than therapy.

my favorite thing about this here list is that i know almost none of those songs.

Okay, with the exception of Lyle Lovett who I despise, I know and like or love all this music! Huffamoose! Does anyone out of the Philadelphia area know Huffamoose? Saw them live at The North Star. Awesome. I'm old.
