Earth Hour
I might just be the parent of the year...or at least I was for about half an hour this morning before I let my kids eat pudding for breakfast and watch crap on TV while I did my best sloth impersonation.
When we got home from Horton Hears a Political Cry For Help, we turned off the lights, made a fire, and played games by candlelight for an hour. It was wonderful. And this morning, when the kids were banished from the upstairs so we could watch Sunday Morning new shows, they asked to sit in the dark in the playroom and play games. Very cute, very funny, very nice.

Then, of course, came the pudding and the cartoons. But every little bit counts. Right?

We played poker by candlelight for an hour. I lost.
