What is wrong with these people?

Andrew Sullivan reports on a school in Florida that is trapped in the dark ages.  Seriously, I don't understand Florida.  It chills me to think that any child in Ponce de Leon High School (fountain of youth?  There's a joke in here somewhere, but it escapes me) might be receiving the twisted messages transmitted from the ignorant and irresponsible adults in their lives.  Newsflash:  Teenagers know gay kids.  Teenagers are sometimes gay kids.  Teenagers don't care about who is gay and who is not until conflicted and repressed adults teach them to.
