Once the Shark Has Been Jumped, We Cannot Unjump It!
Edwards has dropped out of the race. It was inevitable, I guess. I really believe that Democrats are so eager for dramatic change that the change had to even appear, on the most superficial level, dramatic. I don't think a handsome white guy with a southern accent could have possibly won. (Hint: back off, Bill - and you're not even good looking.) My biggest fear is that a strong Clinton will be the unifying force that the Republicans have yet to find and so desperately need in order to stand a chance in this election. They can't even agree on what is and what is not "conservative," but they can agree to want to whomp Hillary!
